2011-2015, A Time for Global Reflection and Change

Metropolis 1 Metropolis 2 Metropolis 3

Welcome

In recent years, developments such as global commerce, international migration and new technology have meant that what often happens in one part of the globe transcends national boundaries.

Governments have acknowledged this by taking steps to work together on matters such as the global economy, the environment and human rights. But global integration now raises so many matters of universal concern that it is imperative that states develop stronger policies.

The Centre was established to facilitate this. It recognises that in this evolving world, one of the most effective ways of contributing to international development is to foster a climate of trust and dialogue.

We hope that you will enjoy using the facilities on this website, which has been designed to encourage global discussion on a range of issues.
